Instagram is the first thing that comes to mind. But other portfolio sites are a good place as well. Flickr is another site a lot of photographers use you can give information about your camera, lenses, aperture and so on as well while making a post.

I have a portfolio on my personal website http://wedding-retouching.com/ , but social media plays a great role in marketing, for sharing photos, I guess Instagram and Pinterest are the appropriate ones.
