I believe it must of been an issue with the graphics card or display drive as basically it just suddenly died while i was using it and no display/sound or anything would work but the laptop was on. After a while i tried plugging it into my TV and that was the only way i could use it as the display came up on there.

Have you made sure all the drivers for it are up to date?

yeah, according to the stats and everything its all running great but its clearly not when i use it. Its fine, going to buy a new one come payday :)

I see, well that's unfortunate.

What will you be upgrading to?
Ill be going for the brand new high end Macbook Pro :)

From Apple:

  • 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i7

  • Turbo Boost up to 3.7GHz

  • 16GB 1600MHz memory

  • 512GB PCIe-based flash storage1

  • Intel Iris Pro Graphics

  • AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB GDDR5 memory

  • Force Touch trackpad

That 16GB RAM should be more than enough. Not bad.

I've had this 500GB HDD forever and I'm just now using almost 50% of it. Plenty for my needs and if I ever need up needing more space I'll just purchase a 2TB external HDD and be done with it.

Just in case you're interested, here's something I just came about that I'll be ordering soon for my PC. Cheaper than an external HDD and I can switch out HDDs pretty easy without all that computer disassembling. I have a few extra HDDs laying around so this will come in handy.

Wage, you'll have to come back on again sometime, it was good besides the connection issues!
